The PWM Customized Solutions team at Pictet Wealth Management enables business innovation by helping business users leverage modern technologies, including AI, low-code platforms, and data solutions. The team acts as a bridge between business needs and technology teams, delivering innovative and compliant solutions that create tangible business value. This 12-month internship focuses on the design and implementation of PWM's next-generation Agentic AI Platform, aiming to provide business users with secure, scalable, and governed AI agents for knowledge discovery, process automation, decision support, and productivity enhancement.

Tasks

  • Evaluate emerging AI agent technologies, frameworks, and patterns.
  • Collaborate with business, IT, security, and data teams to define requirements.
  • Support the design of secure, scalable, and reusable platform components.
  • Identify policies, standards, and control mechanisms for responsible AI adoption.
  • Help define monitoring, auditability, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Research best practices related to AI governance in highly regulated environments.
  • Participate in the development and configuration of AI agents.
  • Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts addressing real business use cases.
  • Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise data sources and business applications.
  • Conduct academic research related to agentic AI systems and enterprise AI platforms.
  • Evaluate industry trends and benchmark solutions adopted within the financial services sector.
  • Translate research findings into practical recommendations and platform improvements.

Requirements

  • Education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of AI and LLMs.
  • Knowledge of software architecture concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, APIs, and programming languages.
  • Interest in AI governance and security.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging technologies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Autonomous, organized, and collaborative mindset.
  • This opportunity is intended for students completing a Master’s thesis required by their academic programme.
