Join our multidisciplinary team to build and improve GPU and CPU accelerated software libraries that power AI, data analytics, image processing, computer vision, and scientific simulations for leading commercial and academic organizations worldwide. You will be part of a team responsible for developing libraries that deliver groundbreaking functionality and performance.

Tasks

  • Extend the capabilities of existing libraries and build new libraries for AI, HPC, or medical applications.
  • Work with senior software engineers who provide mentorship and guidance.
  • Implement new image and data processing algorithms.
  • Define APIs and analyze performance.
  • Find appropriate solutions for difficult numerical corner cases.
  • Collaborate with team members and partners to understand software use cases and requirements.
  • Research, analyze, and document state-of-the-art algorithms.
  • Develop algorithms for image and data compression and processing.
  • Analyze and improve performance of existing implementations.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Math, or a related field.
  • Programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
  • Parallel or GPU programming experience (AVX, NEON, OpenMP, MPI, CUDA, or OpenCL).
  • Experience with image coding (jpg, tiff, etc.) or data compression algorithms (LZW, DEFLATE, etc.).
  • Knowledge of image processing algorithms.
  • Performance analysis and test design skills.
  • Familiarity with floating-point arithmetic internals and numerical error analysis.

Benefits

Internship pay is based on the position, location, year in school, degree, and experience. For Poland, the annual range for interns is 117,750 PLN - 204,100 PLN (pro-rated for the duration of the internship).
