As an Associate R&D Specialist in the Lipids & Metabolic Analytics department at Nestlé Research in Lausanne, Switzerland, your mission is to provide scientific expertise in advanced lipid analytics to develop, validate, and transfer fit-for-purpose analytical methodologies supporting product innovation. You will collaborate closely with scientists, experts, innovation partners, and technical teams across Nestlé to turn ideas into sustainable and innovative solutions for people, pets, and the planet.

Tasks

  • Lead project activities with independence, accuracy, and scientific rigor to meet defined objectives and timelines.
  • Organize laboratory activities and carry out experiments involving internal or external partners.
  • Drive the implementation of analytical methods and technical solutions to improve lipid analysis capabilities in Nestlé Operation sites worldwide.
  • Strengthen the scientific evidence on lipids to support breakthrough innovation.
  • Contribute to technological scouting and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • PhD with recognized expertise in lipid analysis using advanced analytics based on mass spectrometry techniques (HRMS and MS/MS) and 1-3 years of experience in the domain.
  • Ability to leverage operational and business needs and research thinking to develop, validate, and transfer fit-for-purpose analytical methods to support product innovation.
  • Collaborative, quality-focused, proactive, curious, agile, and creative approach across research and technology.
  • Fluent communication in English.
