The actual location of this job is in Basel Stücki, Switzerland. For our successful Drug Product focused branch located in Basel and Stein, Switzerland, we have exciting opportunities. Tasks
- Ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment and facility systems through effective preventive maintenance programs.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations for critical equipment failures.
- Own and support Change Controls, CAPAs, Deviations, and Risk Assessments related to engineering systems.
- Maintain engineering documentation, including equipment records, drawings, specifications, SOPs, etc.
- Act as the Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) during internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance reliability, compliance, efficiency, and sustainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, Industrial, or similar discipline).
- Experience in engineering roles within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, or other regulated industries.
- Knowledge of equipment lifecycle management, project execution, and maintenance practices.
- Experience working within GMP-regulated environments and quality systems.
- Familiarity with computerized systems, automation technologies, or laboratory equipment is an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with excellent command of English and German, written and spoken.
