The CAS ETH in Climate Innovation is a five-month executive programme aimed at equipping professionals to lead the climate transition toward net-zero emissions and a resilient carbon-neutral society. As a student assistant, you will support the programme in communication and event management, gaining insights into how a continuing education programme is communicated and delivered at a university.

This is a fixed-term position for 6 months, with potential extension upon agreement with the management team. Start date is by arrangement, as soon as possible.

Tasks

  • Populate the web content management system with already reworked content.
  • Run basic desktop research.
  • Conduct simple data analysis and turn them into charts.
  • Organise lunches on programme days for a total of 18 days.
  • Organise 1 dinner with Alumni.
  • Prepare the roadmap to 4-5 excursions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s (from the 5th semester) or Master’s student at a Swiss university in natural or social science.
  • At ease with computer skills, quick adaptation to operating new software, and performing basic analysis in Excel.
  • Some experience with administration or event management.
  • Excellent soft skills: problem-solving, creativity (new ideas are highly welcome), analytical, reliable and organized.
  • Confident communication in English, written and spoken.
  • Good command of German is welcome.
