Tasks
- Act as central point of contact and liaise with national and international clients and colleagues regarding direct tax accounting issues.
- Participate as part of the Primary Team in tax audits of International Groups and single legal entities in Switzerland.
- Contribute knowledge to BEPS2.0 projects.
- Lead clients on established accounts, seek process improvement opportunities in both EY and client processes, and implement services for new clients.
- Manage account resourcing, budget, and delivery.
- Develop and coach the team, including involvement with global EY-Shared-Service-Center structures.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in tax accounting and/or tax audit, ideally gained in a big4 or professional services firm, within an international environment.
- Sound knowledge of general and tax accounting principles as well as reporting concepts/principles (temporary/permanent differences, current and deferred taxes, etc.).
- Strong technical expertise in US GAAP and/or IFRS tax accounting.
- Hands-on experience with tax audit procedures for multinational companies, including their design, execution, and oversight.
- Experience designing, performing, and overseeing tax audit procedures for HQ Multinationals as part of a Primary Team.
- Ability to analyze complex transactions and assess their tax accounting implications, paired with strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Advanced command of Excel.
- Great communication skills.
- Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
